We have been quite busy lately. My sister, Laura, had a little boy named Zack. He is beautiful and sweet! And, she is a great little momma! Bryce had his debut school program at FUMC Tupelo - where he was an Indian who stood front and center and did NOT sing a word. It was adorable! Bailey has been growing so fast - she smiles all the time, says "ack" and "aah", and gives great kisses!
Oh, and we moved to Nashville - well, Hendersonville to be exact. We love our new house - it has a basement for all of Bryce's toys to be spread all over. We loaded up in the van with the Wood family last weekend and got some cowboy boots. Bryce does not like to take his off. And, I gotta say, Danny is a handsome cowboy.
Lucy decided she wasn't getting enough attention, so she went in the back yard and cut her back wide open. In order to save anyone from gagging, I will not post any pics. We had to find a vet immediately so she could get stitches - which she promptly tore through. She is healing - slowly but surely - so she will have a little (huge and nasty) scar.
Also, as new residents of Hendersonville, our best friends Susannah and Wes, told us about Santa coming to take pictures at Rock Castle. We got to wait in our van (the awesome "Mommy Van") until the little elf came to get us for our turn with Santa. Bryce walked right up to him and gave him a hug. He asked Santa to bring him a racetrack and two race cars. I am pretty sure that Bailey asked for some dolls - although I didn't hear her say it.
We went to visit my great grandmother over Thanksgiving Week. That makes her Bryce and Bailey's great-great-grandmother. We had so much fun taking a picture of the five generations of family. How cool is it that we have Granny, Memaw, Mom, me, and Bailey??? Five women from age 91 to 3 months.
Prayer request: our friends Catherine and Brannon have just moved their father to the hospice house in Tupelo. Please keep the Kahlstorfs in your thoughts and prayers. Catherine and Brannon are some of the first friends we made when we moved to Tupelo four years ago, and we love them and their beautiful daughters very much.
We hope you enjoy the pictures. I have more that Cara took - but they will be saved for the birth announcement and Christmas card. To all of our friends in Tupelo, we miss you guys. It is not easy to move away from such great friends. But, we are very happy up here in Hendersonville (Nashbill) - and we are finding ourselves falling in love with this town and the people who live here.
Happy Holidays to each of you from the four of us!!!
